ATM worked as expected. Very fast confirmation - will definitely use again! Additional: Have now done about 10 purchases - all completed without any problems! Newest update: Have used this ATM over 2 dozen times - no problems ever. Great! Fee is now over 20% - not happy!

I'm fairly new to crypto currency, and not the most tech savvy person. The Byte Federal Bitcoin ATM is so easy to use! The first time I used it I had to be verified. A very friendly person helped me understand everything over the phone. It was easy and I felt very comfortable talking with him. The next time I used the ATM it was so fast and easy! My information came right up, the entire transaction took less than 10 minutes. I will only use the Byte Federal Bitcoin ATM in the future and will recommend it to anyone who is interested.

This is the best place to use a machine to make purchases without having a lot of hassle, if a bill gets spit back , I just put it in another way. Rarely does it spit back a bill. And when I am finished with the purchase, an email is sent to me . And with in 20 to 30 minutes the funds are in my wallet The best and quietest machine that I have used of all the different kinds to purchase bitcoin. The confirmation of the purchase on the blockchain is fantastic! I would recommend anyone to utilize this machine and location for their bitcoin purchase. I had a great experience today . The machine took the money and non of it was returned or spit out . Usually it takes about an hour for the money to reach my wallet. Maybe this time it will take less time to reach my wallet.

The cash feed in slot on the atm is too far below eye level When it hangs/jams it tosses cash onto the floor This is a security problem in dimly lit rooms as well as for people who cannot bend or stoop Also, the transaction fees are high!! The Byte Federal Bitcoin ATM is one of the better bitcoin machines that I have used, once I got used to the idiosyncrasies. The hieroglyphic instructions on the machine forced me to experiment with how the user interface really works. Scanning cameras are at the top of the machine and are crude. I had to email my address to Federal since they couldn't read my DL. If you're tall some features are good, like the cameras, but inserting cash is a pain in the back, literally. The Federal help line was a major plus when setting up my account, thus the 4-star rating.

The Byte Federal machine at my local 24-hour store has been there for as long as I can remember. I've made probably twenty purchases there and not one issue. Late night, weekends, holidays — it just works. The convenience of being able to convert cash to Bitcoin at 2am without scheduling anything is the whole point of these kiosks.

Used the Byte Federal ATM at my usual spot for over a year. When that store closed last summer I worried I'd have to switch services — but there were two more locations within ten minutes. One of the few two-way Byte Federal kiosks near me — meaning you can also sell Bitcoin and get cash out, not just buy. Used it to liquidate a small position and walked out with hundreds in twenties. The withdrawal limit per visit is reasonable and the fee was clear up front. Knocking one star only because the cash dispenser took an extra minute to release, but the support number had me sorted in seconds.

So I was a bit disappointed. It’s the best machine to use for buying bitcoin . As every thing is easy and simple to use . Today the machine was taking the bills slower and suddenly stopped with the last bill not being counted. Then I called support and they were very helpful, however I couldn’t continue buying bitcoin. I was given the option of going to another address to continue my purchase, which was really nice!

While the ATM machines are easy to use and everything works as it should. In numerous transactions, I never had a problem. My only complaint are the fees for the transactions. 25% seems mighty expensive, but they are one of very few places to convert cash to BTC. They are aware of this, I’m sure.

I was nervous about using a Bitcoin ATM for the first time and the store clerk where the Byte Federal kiosk is hosted noticed and pointed me at the QR-code instructions on the side of the machine. Took me about four minutes start to finish. Got an email receipt and a text confirming the BTC sent. Smooth.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quick & easy their review of my account went, & I am very grateful to them for actually trying to work with me (as opposed to Coin Flip that began the same day & on 5/31/25 was still stuck in the same rut, sending me the same email & never actually communicating with me). I do have one problem with the ATM, the bill slot is set very low (even for someone 5'4'). It has a specific slot the bill has to go in, so one is practically required to be able to see the bills going in. It means holding the head sideways & the back leaning over. When using the $20 bills from the bank or an ATM, that may mean getting a crick in one's neck, not to mention back pain. Of course, $100 bills are much preferred but not always available. A dedicated stool would help a LOT. I have another complaint, too. It was the next day before I got my receipts! Others deliver theirs in a matter of minutes once the transaction is completed. The next day is by FAR the slowest I've encountered. That definitely needs improvement immediately. I am thrilled to have access to a machine with such high limits, & I commend you for such foresight. I still think your machine should offer a bill counter like the banks use for low denominations buying the same coin & sending them to one destination. How much easier that would be!!

First of all, the location of the coin machine is located where the cashier is in direct view, so if anything bad was to happen, their assistance is available. The location of the Gas and Grub station is located in a good location in town. Their employees are friendly and accommodating. Asking the cashier for something to sit on while making a large transaction was very helpful. She/he/they fully understood that senior citizens can’t squat or bend over for long periods of time making transactions. I had a couple of $100.00 bills the machine wouldn’t accept. I asked the cashier if they could run them through their machine to verify they were good. Once verified, they provided me two different bills the machine accepted to complete my transaction. While there, if you need gas, might fill up as their prices are more than competitive. The store is clean and comfortable. The local police use the station for pit stops, so security is very good. A very comfortable and safe place to make Bitcoin purchases. Plus that, it’s the only machine available between San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas. Could use a machine in Lake Havasu, AZ, Yuma, AZ to cut drive time. As it was, I had to make a 100 mile round trip twice to conduct business.

Personally, this ATM is far for me , I don't live in the area, but it didn't stop me from using it. I visit often, any issues you may have can be taken care of by customer service, and they are well informed and trained to assist you on the spot, really good service. I gave it a 4 star because the administrative fees are entirely too high it shocked me to see the amount of funds deducted after your transaction unfortunately because of this I may have to look into other ATMs. I understand that this can't be helped considering the economical issues we now face. But still we are being slammed.

Byte Federal Btc ATM machines at Bayside Arco is a very trustworthy place to buy various crypto. It is easy to set up your account with them. I love that the support phone system is widely available and is served by real people! One just follows the instructions on the screen to proceed. The only drawback at the present time, is one needs to call support to receive the confirmation code before you purchase. This is an issue with the cell phone carriers in this area.

I used other bitcoin ATMs that were different and the process was fairly the same but the ATM I used today was a few dollars cheaper so I will always be using this same ATM again. Edit: I got a call the next day from Byte federal and they’re going to be looking into this issue with this specific atm. The representative online was extremely helpful and went out of her way to look into what she could with this issue. Very transparent which is needed in this type of market. When I scan my wallet into the atm, it pops up as the wrong wallet compared to what’s on the screen. It’s also been over 10 minutes and I still haven’t had an update of the funds in my wallet. This is nerve racking on whether or not the funds will actually go to their intended location.

As a result of working with the representative to verify my account convinced me to continue to use your bitcoin machine. It was a heck of a lot easier than using a third-party. The only downside is you charge extremely large fees. I just paid $200 for a fee, that is a lot of bitcoin. I could have purchased if you would simply charge more reasonable amount.

I always feel safe and comfortable here. I found 2 five dollar bills in my bank notes and ATM does not accept them. The store cashier willingly and with a smile exchanged them for a ten. I find them very supportive here. P.S. They sell great egg rolls too!

Last time I used it my 20$ went above the part that takes in the 20 and there was no way of getting it out without a key at that point slipped above it somehow, so I lost my 20 completely, not much anybody could of done but every other time I used it works amazing I use it frequently….. problem fixed and cash was paid back. Despite the fees it still saves me time & money to use the Byte Federal ATM. It’s also one less step. I hope people try it! My local ATM appears to not get too much traffic since the store displays usually end up in front of it. For me it’s important that I have access to it so I hope others see how convenient it can be to go from cash to BTC, or my personal choice: XMR, or most of the others like ETH etc. without your bank. The fees are just a little higher than your normal exchanges (Kraken, Coinbase, etc.) TOTALLY WORTH IT! One important thing I wish I knew ahead of time: REGISTER FIRST! Although I did have to go take a selfie with the ATM so I went back but by then my profile was already reviewed so it took moments for it to approve. Initially I went home bc it took so long, but that may have been my daughter getting impatient, just know you’re gonna need to get verified. Support was very helpful on my first few tries, once resetting the ATM remotely when it seemed frozen. They are responsive via text which I prefer, but also a bonus, humans will ANSWER THE PHONE! It’s like the old days of calling and a human picks up the call. Unexpected. So yes, support is Very Good, Super Responsive & I was always able to complete my transactions successfully. I’ve probably used it 6-7 times now and plan to keep using it.

I was terribly scared at first to do this on the red machine..but I watched a You tube video on how too complete a transaction, and it was so simple a 4 year old could do it!! The video explains step by step. The red machine also explains on the screen step by step. It is easy and as long as a person pays attention they too can get in iand out in under 10 minutes.

I'm very happy to find a Byte Federal Bitcoin ATM. There are only two located near me. I'm not entirely crazy with the area that it's located as it is considered a rougher part of town. However, the store that the machine is in is a busy location, it's bright and clean inside. The clerks are attentive and the Bitcoin ATM is, thankfully, not near the door so I don't feel exposed when pumping cash into the machine. I am very satisfied. Thank you.
