Despite the fees it still saves me time & money to use the Byte Federal ATM. It’s also one less step. I hope people try it! My local ATM appears to not get too much traffic since the store displays usually end up in front of it. For me it’s important that I have access to it so I hope others see how convenient it can be to go from cash to BTC, or my personal choice: XMR, or most of the others like ETH etc. without your bank. The fees are just a little higher than your normal exchanges (Kraken, Coinbase, etc.) TOTALLY WORTH IT! One important thing I wish I knew ahead of time: REGISTER FIRST! Although I did have to go take a selfie with the ATM so I went back but by then my profile was already reviewed so it took moments for it to approve. Initially I went home bc it took so long, but that may have been my daughter getting impatient, just know you’re gonna need to get verified. Support was very helpful on my first few tries, once resetting the ATM remotely when it seemed frozen. They are responsive via text which I prefer, but also a bonus, humans will ANSWER THE PHONE! It’s like the old days of calling and a human picks up the call. Unexpected. So yes, support is Very Good, Super Responsive & I was always able to complete my transactions successfully. I’ve probably used it 6-7 times now and plan to keep using it.
